Disha Patani confirmed on board Sangamithra
Bollywood actress Disha Patani has been confirmed on board Sundar C’s magnum opus Sangamithra, as speculated earlier. The actress comes in as a replacement for Shruti Haasan, who walked out of the project citing differences with the production team.
Sundar C is planning to take the film on floors by the start of next year, after he washes his hands off his Kalakalappu sequel.
Sangamithra stars Disha Patani, Arya, Jayam Ravi. It has music by AR Rahman, and is produced by Thenandal Films.
