Director Vijay and Vikram Prabhu join hands

Director Vijay has decided to go for a breezy romantic drama, a genre he has not tapped before. The film will be bankrolled by Lisitin Stephen’s Magic Frames and Radhika Sarathkumar’s Radaan. Vikram Prabhu will play the lead role and the team is on the lookout for someone to play his love interest. Nirav Shah, Na. Muthukumar, GV Prakash and Anthony are likely to be part of Vijay’s technical team.

“Yes, I will be joining hands with Vikram Prabhu for a romantic film. I like to experiment and I will be experimenting with the genre of romance this time. My responsibilities have increased after Saivam and I will try my best to deliver yet again. This film with Vikram Prabhu will be on relationships and the problems associated with them,” says Vijay to a daily. The untitled flick will be predominantly shot in Chennai.
