Director Vijay trashes rumors on remarriage

After reports in a section of media claimed that director Vijay is gearing up for a second marriage, he has trashed it as baseless rumors now. “To my dismay, I found that there were some fabricated rumours on my remarriage in a certain section of media. This is baseless. This kind of unauthorised information disturbs me a lot,” reads an official statement from Vijay.

“Media has been largely instrumental in my growth, and I feel I have the moral right to ask them to avoid such “rumours” . My commitment to the audience and the media is to offer films of substance, and I will strive hard to deliver it,” he added. Vijay and Amala Paul were formally granted divorce by a family court two weeks back.
