Director Ram’s speech in Vijay Awards goes viral

Director Ram delivered the boldest speech of the night at Vijay Awards on Saturday. He was alleging foul-cry in selection in songs and music director category in the event. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music for national award-winning Thanga Meengal was widely appreciated by critics and music buffs alike. But, he was not even nominated under the Best Music Composer category in Vijay Awards. Ram rightly pointed this out in his sweeping statement on stage. Later, he called Yuvan on stage and handed over the Best Film Award to him for being the cornerstone of Thanga Meengal.
