Director Avinaash Hariharan talks about Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharnamappa

Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharnamappa is close on the heels of amusing audiences with its laughter riot soon in theatres. Actor Veera says, “First and foremost, I owe a lot to producer Mahesh for producing a film, banking on an actor like me, who is at the initial stage of the market. Moreover, I feel nervous as I am attempting comedy for the first time in my career.”

Director Avinaash Hariharan on his part said, “I had been making television commercials for a very long time. Both Veera and I met for the first time during the promotional song of Rajathanthiram, where the basic gist of Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharnamappa was conceptualized. Soon after developing the complete draft, we had to push ourselves for a huge task of finding a producer. Thanks to Mahesh sir as he instantly gave a nod.”

Talking about the film, the director said, “This is out and out comedy caper involving various characters -A photographer from Pondicherry, a wedding planner from Chennai and a hitman from Mumbai on the verge of comeback with a huge assignment bouncing upon each other due to crazy perplexity sparked off by a dim-witted politician.”

Producer Mahesh Govindaraaj of Auraa Cinemas said, “Having distributed 30 movies, I personally felt that it’s high time to get into production of movies. In fact, this has been a good learning experience to understand the pulse of audiences. As I launched my production house, my intention was to make movies with entertainment and good contents too. I am sure Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharnamappa will be a complete amusement to the universal audiences. It’s not just about the audience, but I am gleeful that my maiden production has got a distributor Clapboard Productions Sathyamoorthy releasing it.”

The film features Veera, Malavika Nair, Pasupathi, Robo Shankar and many more prominent actors. Madley Blues is composing music for this film with Jalandhar Vasan handling cinematography.
