Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is based on a true story

Director Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame has revealed that his ongoing cop thriller Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is based on a story published in a newspaper in 2005. To develop the story, Vinoth has gathered extensive documents on the case and researched thoroughly with several real-life police officers.

Produced by  SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, TAO, which revolves around three main characters, features Rakul Preet Singh as the lead heroine. Abhimanyu Singh of Thalaivaa and 10 Endrathukulla fame plays the baddie. Ghibran composes music for the project.
