Dhanush’s contribution to Chennai floods tots up to Rs. 1 crore

It is well-known that Dhanush donated Rs. 5 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund through the South Indian Film Artistes’ Association (SIFAA) after unprecedented rains battered Chennai last week. However, according to reliable sources who are involved in relief operations, Dhanush’s total contribution to the flood-hit victims of Chennai and Cuddalore tots up to Rs. 1 crore  including all the relief measures he took on with his team of passionate volunteers.

Dhanush has currently moved on to his professional commitments and is still co-ordinating the rehabilitation work for victims by organizing medical camps regularly in unnoticed areas. He is gearing up for the release of Thanga Magan on December 18th. The trailer has clocked 1 million views in 30 hours and the film has been certified a clean U from the censor board.
