Dhanush thanks KV Anand for Shamitabh

Speaking at the audio launch of Anegan, Dhanush expressed his gratefulness for director KV Anand for letting him act in R. Balki’s Shamitabh where he’s co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan. “If not for KV Anand sir, I would not have acted in Shamitabh. He was so generous to adjust the shooting dates of Anegan so that I would be able to do Shamitabh on time,” revealed Dhanush.

Apparenty, Dhanush’s Shamitabh call came only after he committed to Anegan and commenced shooting for the film. KV Anand was also appreciative of Dhanush’s and told his performance in this film will be talked about. Anegan has Dhanush in four different makeovers and Amyra Dastur playing the female lead.
