Dhanush reveals the budget of his sophomore directorial

Speaking to Film Companion from the Cannes Film Festival, Dhanush revealed that the budget of his sophomore directorial is Rs 70 Cr.

“Earlier, it was Rs 100 Cr. Now, we have compressed it to Rs 70 Cr. However, I don’t have a market for Rs 70 Cr. So, we have been looking for other potential revenues from various platforms to make the film profitable before going on floors in August. That’s why we invested a lot of time in the pre-production. Now, we have already made table profit from the film,” said Dhanush.

Dhanush will be heading to Paris for the premiere of his international project The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir which is releasing in France on May 30th.
