Dhanush is a phenomenal performer: R. Balki

R. Balki, the director of Hindi film Shamitabh calls Dhanush a phenomenal performer. The film is currently under post-production and the audio composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja is eagerly awaited. R.Balki is all praise for lead actor Dhanush. “Rather than calling him an actor, I would describe as a phenomenal performer. Few actors in India are gifted with such skills, and he is one among them. While shooting for Shamitabh, Dhanush injured his ankle, but despite the pain, he completed the song,” says R.Balki.

Starring Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in lead roles and Amitabh Bachchan and Abinaya of Nadodigal fame in important roles, Shamitabh is slated for release on February 6th, 2014.
