Dhanush grabs Simbu’s long-pending flick

Two years back, Vetri Maaran announced a project with Simbu titled Vada Chennai. Vetri also roped in Rana Daggubati for an important role. But the project was indefinitely postponed for unknown reasons and Vetri started preparing a fresh script for Dhanush. And then, he came up with Soodhadi which is also yet to go on the floors.

Now, the latest buzz in the tinsel town is Vetri Maaran is reviving Vada Chennai with Dhanush in the lead role. It’s not certain whether Soodhadi has taken shape as Vada Chennai or both are completely different projects. If Vada Chennai is revived as a separate project, the fate of Soodhadi is anybody’s guess.
