Dhanush and Samantha team up for Vetrimaaran’s next

Dhanush has confirmed his next project with Vetrimaaran as Vada Chennai and not Soodhadi, which has been put on hold for now. Vetrimaaran was supposed to join hands with Simbu for Vada Chennai and now it looks like Dhanush has replaced him. Apparently, Vetrimaaran narrated the script to Dhanush during the shooting of Pollathavan. 

Samantha will play the lead heroine in the film which will roll out from September as soon as Dhanush completes his untitled project with Velraj. Dhanush has also signed Prabhu Solomon’s next and the pre-production work is going on for the same.
