Deepika Padukone in talks for Vijay 59?

As Vijay is busy with Chimbudevan’s Puli, reports about his next project are already going rounds on the web. After Nayanthara who was reportedly roped in for the female lead backed out of the project due to her jampacked schedules, sources say the makers are trying to approach Bollywood glamdoll Deepika Padukone for the role.

In fact, Deepika Padukone was one of the choices for Puli but the makers eventually signed on Hansika and Shruti Haasan as female leads. It’s also been discussed in hushed whispers that Sonakshi Sinha will also be approached for the role. Vijay 59 will be directed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipili S Dhanu.
