Darling to take I, Aambala head-on
The makers of Darling have confirmed the film as a Pongal release. The film marks acting debut of composer GV Prakash Kumar. Since Ajith and Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal got postponed to January 29th, the Darling team has preponed their release date to cater to the festival audience. Sources say it is likely to release on January 15th. The theatrical trailer will be released today evening.
Jointly produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films and Allu Aravind of Geetha Ars, Darling is directed by debutant filmmaker Sam Anton. It is an official remake of the Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram. It is said to be a horror comedy featuring Nikki Galrani as the lead heroine and Karunaas, Bala Saravanan and Naan Kadavul fame Rajendran in supporting roles.
