Superstar Rajinikanth has once again substantiated his box-office supremacy with his latest outing Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
The film has raced past the Rs 100 crores gross mark worldwide (3 days) in its opening weekend, making it the eighth century grosser for Rajinikanth, which is the most for any south Indian actor.
In three days (Jan 9-11), the film has earned more than Rs 33 crores in Tamil Nadu alone. Despite mixed reviews, Darbar is holding well in all significant territories and is expected to continue its good run for the Pongal holidays which begin this week.
Also, in 4 days (Jan 9-12) Darbar has grossed over 7.28 crores in Chennai city alone! Racing towards another milestone.
