D40: Dhanush wraps up his film with Karthik Subbaraj

Truly in a flash, Dhanush has completed shooting for his film with Karthik Subbaraj. The team had shot most of the portions in the extensive UK schedule which took place for more than 60 days, and then completed the flashback leg in India. Dhanush put out a tweet saying that he was very happy with the completion of the film, saying “That’s a wrap for D40. One of the quickest films I have done. It was a pleasure to work with such a quirky , sensible and visionary film maker like Karthik Subbaraj. This one is going to be special.” With Aishwarya Lekshmi as the heroine, the film is produced by Y Not Studios.

Dhanush will now use the window to promote his upcoming mass entertainer Pattas which is set for a release on the 16th of January. Post Pongal, the actor will look to start off his film with Mari Selvaraj, the director of Pariyerum Perumal.
