Coolie: Lokesh wraps up filming of the multi-starrer biggie within just eight months!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has been wrapped up yesterday, with the production house Sun Pictures sharing an official update about the film. The shoot for the mega biggie which features actors from every industry in India, has been wrapped up within a short span of just 8 months. This is phenomenal for the size of the film, and once again showcases Lokesh Kanagaraj’s planning and control as a director.

Coolie was initially planning for a worldwide release on August 14th, but with War 2 recently confirming that the date is theirs, it looks like Coolie will move to September 5th, which is an apt date for the biggie to hit the screens. The film is said to be an action thriller where multiple ganglords come together to control a major drug heist.
