Conjuring Kannappan Movie Review

A funny film that makes use of a good horror concept. Down goes our Conjuring Kannappan Movie Review.

Horror comedies have worked out well in the recent past with the memory of DD Returns and such, and Conjuring Kannappan is the latest addition to the list. The film marks the debut of Selvin Xavier, and the director has indeed chosen a different plot to execute the film.

Kannappan, a man who is trying to get himself a job works out major ways to get his life back on track. However, he comes across an artefact which takes him into a dream, which has an effect on the real world as well. This interesting plot is spun together with many incidents one after the other, and it’s upto to the protagonist to live up to his world and how he has to safeguard the lives of the people who he accidentally takes into his dream too. The film is filled with decent laughs here and there, and though there is no great shake at any point, we know that the proceedings are in good flow throughout with the frequent jokes coming through.

Sathish does a fine job in the lead role and carries the major weight of the film through. There is also the comic battalion of Redin Kingsley, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Anand Raj and others who do a great job and bring in the fun.

The film is technically solid and Yuvan’s music works out well too.

Overall, Conjuring Kannappan is a decent entertainer that will provide you good laughs if you’re a fan of horror comedies.

Verdict: Sathish leads on this enjoyable entertainer that gives us good laughs.
