Comali unseats Nerkonda Paarvai in TN to top Independence Day weekend boxoffice
Jayam Ravi’s Comali has unseated Thala Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai and emerged atop of the TN box-office for the Independence Day weekend. The film produced by Vels Film International has pulled in a four-day weekend total of Rs 19 crores, including the Friday-Saturday gross of Rs 13.6 crores.
Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai helmed by Vinoth has grossed a second weekend total of Rs 6.76 crores and came at the second position at the TN box-office. However, Nerkonda Paarvai stood strong at the Chennai city box-office and outgrossed Comali by a few lakhs.
