Ace filmmaker KS Ravikumar, who is currently busy with the post production work of his Tamil-Kannada bi-lingual Mudinja Ivana Pudi, has opened up about teaming up with Rajinikanth again after Lingaa‘s lackluster performance at the box office. “Not only from Rajni Sir, but I am
never accustomed to seek opportunities from any hero. If they wish to work with me, I will always do it happily. If not, I make no qualms. I will always continue a good rapport. I have never had disputes with any actors. I respect cinema as a God and work with utmost dedication. People like me for that,” said KS Ravikumar.
When asked about Lingaa’s failure, KSR gave a quick rebuttal saying, “Lingaa is a Tamil film that grossed Rs. 158 crores worldwide. People peg it as the highest grossing film of that year. Only Endhiran performed like that before. Raking in Rs. 158 crores at the boxoffice is not a cakewalk. Collection-wise, Lingaa is still a hit,” KS Ravikumar added.
His upcoming film Mudinja Ivani Pudi, starring Sudeep and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, is slated for April release.
