The makers of Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra have returned from Russia due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, which the World Health Organization has declared a global pandemic.
The team was shooting some important scenes in the Baltic region of Russia.

Directed Ajay Gnanamuthu of Imaikkaa Nodigal fame, Cobra is targeting a grand worldwide release for the Eid weekend, which falls on the 25th of May. Now, the release plan is likely to be disrupted. The film will have music by AR Rahman.
Vikram will next move on to complete the remaining portions of ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, where he essays the role of Chola King Aditya Karikalan.
