Chiyaan Vikram’s Thangalaan is now progressing at a brisk pace, with the team shooting important portions of the film at the Kolar Gold Fields. The shoot for the film will progress for another 40+ days with the team planning to wrap up the film by the Tamil New Year season.

The makers of Thangalaan are planning to bring the film to the big screens in the second half of the year, though an exact date will be firmed up only once the shoot is done. According to a source from the team, Thangalaan will bring out one of Chiyaan Vikram’s best ever performances, as the actor is really giving it his all for the film.
