Chiyaan Vikram – Ajay Gnanamuthu project being firmed up

Chiyaan Vikram, who is currently shooting for Mahavir Karna and is awaiting the release of Kadaram Kondan directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame, is all set to collaborate with director Ajay Gnanamuthu next as we had reported earlier.

The project is now firmed up and Lalit Kumar who distributed 96 is said to be producing the film now. Sources say an official announcement will be made soon and the team will start shooting from July this year.

In 2016 itself, reports of Ajay and Vikram teaming up for a project emerged after the former made heads turn with his superb debut in Demonte Colony. Ajay’s super hit Imaikkaa Nodigal featuring Nayanthara is one of the commercially acclaimed films of 2018 too.
