Chiranjeevi’s 150th film to be the remake of Vijay’s Kaththi

The official Telugu remake of Kaththi will see megastar Chiranjeevi reprise the dual role played by Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The remake will be helmed by director VV Vinayak and produced by Tagore Madhu. An official announcement is expected to be made soon.

Interestingly, VV Vinayak worked with Chiru earlier in Tagore, the remake of AR Murugadoss’s Ramana which was also bankrolled by producer-distributor Madhu. AR Murugadoss has reportedly given his inputs for the Kaththi remake to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences.
