Chennai Floods: Suriya to bring experts under one umbrella

Suriya’s Agaram Foundation will join forces with The Hindu and Puthiya Thalaimurai for a two-day conference in Chennai to help bring all experts under one umbrella to under the Chennai deluge better and prevent any future disasters.

“The Hindu, Puthiya Thalaimurai and Agaram Foundation will jointly conduct a two-day conference, which will focus on the recent Chennai floods. The programme will see water conservationists, environmentalists, city administrators and volunteers deliberate on the recent natural disaster and its widespread impact. The objective of the conference is to pool in collective expertise to debate and device strategies and arrive at workable scientific solutions to prevent and manage any future disaster,” said Suriya in his statement.
