Chennai and Chengalpet rights of Baahubali 2 acquired by Thenandal Films
Popular producer-distributor Sri Thenandal Films has acquired the Chennai city and Chengalpet distribution rights of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is gearing up for a grand worldwide release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on April 28th.
Trade sources say Thenandal paid a handsome price to secure the rights, said to be a record for a non-Rajinikanth movie in the two territories. Meanwhile, the North Arcot and South Arcot distribution rights have been procured by Five Star Senthil.
The trailer of Baahubali 2 will be released on March 16th at 9 AM in theaters and evening 5 PM on online platforms.
