Chennai 28 Sequel: Venkat Prabhu introduces himself in a new avatar

Director Venkat Prabhu has almost wrapped the shoots of his next – Chennai 28 2nd innings, as reported earlier. The film will have 6 songs totally and work on the final song is going on currently with composer Yuvan and the team.

Interestingly, Venkat Prabhu will be debuting in this flick as a lyric writer for one song. The crew is much excited about how this track is going to be received by the audience. The music is planned to be launched in August while the film is eyeing a September release.

Venkat Prabhu is also producing this film through his newly launched banner, Black Ticket Company. He is indeed wearing quite a lot of hats for this film, which will feature all the actors who were a part of the first edition along with few additions.
