Chekka Chivantha Vaanam becomes the second film after Kaala to achieve this feat
Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has become the second Tamil film after Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala to gross Rs 7 crore in the Chennai city in 2018.
Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam had grossed nearly Rs 6 crore in the city but missed to cross the Rs 7 crore mark by a whisker. Meanwhile, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has pulled in Rs 45 crore in Tamil Nadu in 11 days.
