Both parts of Ponniyin Selvan were completed in 155 days – Jayam Ravi

At the grand event of Ponniyin Selvan where the trailer and the audio were launched, actor Jayam Ravi spoke about how proud he felt to be a part of this magnum opus and Mani Ratnam’s conviction in handling such a project. Ravi said that both parts of the film were completed in just 155 days, which is super fast for a film of this scale with so many actors.

Ravi said that he took 6 months of preparation for the role, which has him playing the titular character of Arulmozhi Varman. The actor has impressed a lot in the trailer which has just been launched.
