Bobby Simha’s Urumeen creates record
Bobby Simha’s Urumeen has become the first film to use open source software to incorporate motion capture technology, best known for its use in Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, for an important sequence. This five-minute introduction live action scene has been conceptualised with the open source software by technicians who are based in Tamil Nadu.
The movie is currently under the post production phase. Directed by debutant Sakthivel Perumalsamy, Urumeen stars Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon in the lead roles. Kalaiarasan of Madras fame plays the role of antagonist.
