Biriyani to be served on Dec 20th

Venkat Prabhu’s diet ‘Biriyani’ which is earlier slated for Pongal release is now taking a prepone and confirms its release on December 20th. Since Karthi’s Diwali release Azhagu Raja messed up in BO, the actor and team Studio Green wanted Biriyani to come earlier and trouble shoot the flaw created in Karthi’s recent releases. Also for Pongal there is already a very strong line up like Kochadaiiyaan, Jilla & Veeram, and hence Karthi doesn’t want to clash with the biggies.

Biriyani has Karthi, Hansika, Ramki, Premgi Amaren in lead roles. It may be mentioned, Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay, Santhanam starrer ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’ also releasing on December 20th.
