Bigil surpasses Rs 150 crores in opening weekend globally
Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has surpassed the Rs 150 crores mark globally at the box-office. The film has become 2019’s 3rd top-grossing title in Tamil cinema after Petta and Viswasam.
According to early estimates, Bigil might have touched the Rs 175 crores mark in four days of theatrical run worldwide. In overseas alone, the film directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment has crossed Rs 50 crores at the box-office. The opening 4 days gross in TN is expected to be around 80 crores approx and Chennai city gross is said to be in the range of 7 crores!
Also Bigil is the #1 movie in India sailing past over Bollywood biggie Housefull 4 in the opening weekend Indian BO.
