Bigil overseas theatrical rights snapped by UIE and XGen Studio
The overseas theatrical rights of Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil have been jointly acquired by United India Exporters owned by Yahiya Bhai and XGen Studio. Sources say the rights have been snapped for a whopping price of Rs 30 crores.
Vijay’s box-office has been on the rise in overseas territories for the past few years. His last two films, Mersal, and Sarkar sailed past the $10 million cumulative total in foreign markets. Now, trade is expecting Bigil to gross more than $13 million in its lifetime. The film directed by Atlee is gearing up for Diwali 2019 release.
