Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has dethroned the worldwide total of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj to become the top-grossing title of 2019 today. (in Tamil films category)
The Atlee-directed sports drama has charged past the Rs 220 crores gross mark from global takings, including the Rs 70 crores foreign cumulative. The AGS production will soon edge past the lifetime total of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and become the second highest-earning south Indian movie after Prabhas’ Saaho.
