Balaji Mohan, Karthik Subbaraj and Santhosh Narayanan come together
Creating dedicated independent platforms for short film-makers seems to be the latest fad in K’town. After Karthik Subbaraj’s Bench Talkies and Aishwarya Dhanush’s YouTube Ten Entertainment, the latest to join the list is Rayanne Radika,who has announced a short film festival contest for budding film-makers along with Radaan Media.
“Radaan Short Film Festival will be an annual affair, and initially 25 short films would be chosen from all entries. Depending on how well they are received, we shortlist 10 — after which the five best are selected by a panel comprising director Balaji Mohan, cinematographer Rathnavelu, Karthik Subbaraj, editor Antony and Santhosh Narayanan,” says Rayanne.
