Bala to produce 3 films next year

Speaking at the first look teaser launch function of Mysskin’s Pisaasu, director Bala confirmed that he is planning to produce three films under his banner B Studios next year. Bala, who is currently busy with his directorial venture Thaarai Thappattai starring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in lead roles, said he was impressed by Mysskin’s 10-minute narration and decided to bankroll the project.

“Only Mysskin can convince someone with just ten minutes. I planned to produce three films this year under my banner. But, I could not do it. Next year, I will defnitely produce three films. I will direct a film and will give opportunity to other filmmakers for the remaining two. Whether they are popular directors or newbies doesn’t matter, talent is what concerns me,” said Bala.
