Bala lauds Kallappadam director Vadivel

J Vadivel, a former assistant of Mysskin, was on cloud nine when Bala, known for his reticence, spoke to him for about thirty minutes and discussed his work. “My admiration for Bala sir began from the days of Sethu. It was a memorable moment for me when someone like him showered good words on my film. I was so floored that I sought his blessings three times in the thirty minutes I spent with him,” says Vadivel.

Kallappadam is said to be about the journey of four friends who aspire to make a film. It hits screens on March 20th.
