Baahubali talkie portions wrapped up

A major milestone has been achieved by team Baahubali on the 24th of January 2015. The team has completed shooting the entire talkie portion of the big budget period action drama. The production team, led by award winning director S.S. Rajamouli, will now shift its focus to post-production work as well as two more songs that remain to be shot.

Post-production has been going on for a while now, in parallel with the shoot, and a major portion of work has either been completed or is at an advanced stage. All artistes have already completed dubbing for Baahubali  Part 1 in both Telugu and Tamil. Madan Karky has penned the dialogues and lyrics in Tamil for this movie.

“Baahubali will be one of the first South Indian movies  to have Dolby Atmos mixing and this work will start in February. Renowned engineer P. M. Sateesh is working on the sound design and Debajit Changmai (Debu) is working on sound mixing. For the background score, music director M.M. Keeravani is working round the clock,” says the team.

“Another crucial aspect of the film’s post-production process is the Visual Effects work. From the very beginning, Baahubali’s production has been designed keeping VFX in mind. Guided by the National Award winning Srinivas Mohan,VFX work is going on at a very fast pace in more than six different VFX Studios in India, Hong Kong and the United States. The best names in the VFX Industry are working on the film. DI work for the film has already started and work is going on in Annapurna Studios,” the team added.
