Baahubali 2 producer clears the air
Producer Shobu Yarlaggada has clarified that the satellite rights deal of the second instalment of Baahubali is not sealed yet. There have been rumors for the past few days that the makers have already sold the various international distribution rights for the second part including the satellite rights.
“For the second installment, we will be giving priority to all those international distributors who acquired the first part. The German and the Latin American distributors are interested in the second part and they also have the first right of refusal but we have not signed anything yet,” he said.
He also clarified that SS Rajamouli is targeting April 14th, 2017 to release the sequel. An official announcement on the release date is expected towards the end of next month.
