Baahubali 2: First Indian film to release in original IMAX format in the USA

War epic Baahubali: The Conclusion has added yet another feather to its cap. It will be the first Indian to be released in the original IMAX format in the USA and Canada.

Great India Films, which is releasing the movie in the US and Canada, tweeted: “#Baahubali-2 is the First Indian Movie to be released in original IMAX format (Hindi & Telugu) by Great India Films In USA & Can. Thanks to @arkamediaworks Prasad Garu & Shobu Garu and Director @ssrajamouli Garu for their efforts in making IMAX possible in USA & Can.” [sic]

The movie directed by SS Rajamouli is slated to release on April 28th worldwide.
