Azhagu Kutty Chellam Movie Preview
Azhagu Kutty Chellam, directed by Charles and produced by Antony under Mercury Networks, is all set for release on January 1st along with Geetanjali Selvaraghavan’s Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam and few other films. It features an ensemble cast of Karunas, Thambi Ramaiah, Aadukalam Naren, Aghil, John Vijay, Ritwika and newcomer Girisha, who plays the lead heroine.

There are moments that will bring you to the corner of the seat. But no bellowing villain”
“Story telling through music is an art. Azhagu Kutty Chellam is a musical movie on the lines of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Ninaithaale Inikkum, Anjali and Minsaara Kanavu. We have picked Ved Shankar from AR Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory to compose music. We have also handpicked talented musicians like Keba for Guitar, Shehnai musician Balesh of Swades fame. We have spent a lot on sound, music and other areas. We also have Hollywood engineer Tom Quin who did mastering for James Bond’s Sky Fall. Azhagu Kutty Chellam is a musical film that narrates the story through music. You will be carried away once you listen the songs”, says the producer Neeya Naana Anthony.

“John Vijay essays the role of a trickster whose prime victims are school children. But the Adengappa Kids outsmart John Vijay and those sequences will leave you in splits. These scenes are filmed with equal excellence of Hollywood comedy films. The cycle chase sequences where the kids escape John Vijay and the cop George are shot in Chennai’s main roads and bridges involving a lot of risk. This 3 minute nonstop sequence will bring your kids to the seat corner,” says the director Charles.
