Atharvaa denies six-pack ‘competition’

There were rumors that Atharvaa Murali developed his six-pack  to join the list of elite actors who already flaunted their abs in their films. It includes Vishal, Suriya, Arjun, Jayam Ravi, Vikram and Aadhi. But, the Paradesi denies it and says he developed his six-pack only for his role in the film Eetti.

“I didn’t develop six-pack abs to join the list of actors who already have it. This was done exclusively for my role as an athlete in Eetti. I wanted to have a leaner body for the role and ended up developing a six-pack. It’s very important to transform into the character you’re playing. I was very particular about my physical appearance for my role in the film. I worked out for months to achieve my goal and I’m happy with the outcome,” told Atharvaa.

Eetti is directed by Ravi Arasu and has Sri Divya of Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam fame as the female lead. He is also awaiting the release of action-thriller Irumbu Kuthirai.
