Ashok Suicide: Sasikumar lodges complaint against Anbu Cheziyan in Valasaravakkam Police Station
Actor-director Sasikumar has lodged a complaint against popular film financier and producer Anbu Cheziyan at Valasaravakkam Police Station, after Ashok, the former’s long-time friend and co-producer of Company Productions committed suicide by hanging yesterday. Ashok left a two-page suicide note blaming Anbu Cheziyan as the reason for this drastic step.
The police have filed a case on Anbu Cheziyan for abetment of suicide under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. Ameer, Karu Pazhaniappan, Bala and others were present at the police station with a bereaved Sasikumar.
“Despite paying interest amount repeatedly, Anbucheziyan harassed Ashok Kumar. Now, Kodi Veeran has been issued red with few days before release. Councils should join hands at least now and show some spine in bringing these culprits to justice,” said director Ameer.
