Asha Sharath opens up about her role in Thoongaavanam

Asha Sharath, who played the role of an IPS officer in Papanasam, will play the role of Kamal’s wife in his upcoming film Thoongaavanam. Speaking about her role in the film, Asha says, “I play a doctor, Kamal sir’s wife in Thoongavanam. Though I won’t be there throughout the film, it’s something significant because I got to share the screen with the legend again.”

Directed by Kamal’s long-time associate Rajesh Selvam, Thoongaavanam is marching towards the finish line. The film will be wrapped towards the end of this month. It has an ensemble cast of Trisha, Kishore, Prakash Raj and Sampath in important roles.
