Arya’s six-hour cycling trip from Pondy to Chennai

That Arya is the chocolate boy of Kollywood and darling of the actresses is well-known. Do you know that Arya is a zealous cycling freak? Yes, he is. In fact, after completing the shooting of Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam, he rode to Chennai from Pondicherry in six hours. “That was an awesome trip. I have gone there so many times, but nothing has been as wonderful as that cycling experience,” says Arya to a daily.

Currently, Arya is shooting for Vishnuvardhan’s Yatchan in Manapad, a coastal village near Tiruchendur. “I don’t get access to gym in smaller towns. So, if I am shooting for 40 days in these areas, cycling becomes a workout. I ride around the place for hours after the shoot. Also, I can observe many things while cycling more than when driving a car. It’s good fun,” says Arya.
