Arya beats Ajith, Vijay, Surya and Dhanush

The day Kamal Haasan called him Kadhal Ilavarasan, Arya has been the uncrowned chocolate boy of Tamil cinema. Some call him a compulsive flirt, some call him the playboy of Kollywood, but we have never seen him bothered with any tag at all. Now, Arya has won the poll conducted by Chennai Times on ‘The Most Desirable Men of 2013 in Tamil cinema’. Arya has topped the list beating industry’s bigwigs such as Ajith, Vijay, Surya, Dhanush, Simbu, Vikram and others. Surya, Ajith, Dhanush and Vijay occupied the second, third, fourth and fifth places respectively.

“It feels so funny in a way to be chosen as the `most desirable’ person in the industry . For sure, it is not something that I expected. The fact that the people have chosen me for this is very humbling and I do feel honored,” says Arya. I have a vivid personality and I am open about my relationships. I have never ended a relationship on bad terms. Despite the fact that I have been linked up and subsequently broken off with so many women, no one says anything bad about me -everyone will only say I was their friend,” says Arya to TOI.
