Even as we wait for a glimpse of Ilaiyaraja’s 1000th film Thaarai Thappattai directed by Bala, the maestro has signed his 1000th movie, a bi-lingual in Tamil and Telugu. It is a remake of the commercially and critically successful Marathi film Kaksparsh. Mahesh Manjrekar,who directed the original will helm this bi-lingual remake, which has Arvind Swamy reprising the role of Sachin Khedekar.
Sources say the shooting for the film has been completed and the post-production work is underway. The original album of the film had 9 tracks and was highly-acclaimed by music buffs. All eyes are now cast on Ilaiyaraja to double the magic in Tamil version.
