Arun Pandian’s A & P Group bags Lingaa rights?
The latest buzz in the tinsel town is Arun Pandian’s A & P Group has acquired the overseas distribution rights of Rajinikanth’s Lingaa. Trade sources say Arun Pandian has bargained a whopping deal with producer Rockline Venkatesh to purchase overseas rights. Earlier, it was said that Eros International will distribute the film abroad. However, there is no official confirmation yet from both Arun Pandian and Rockline Venkatesh. With Soundarya Rajinikanth at the helm of affairs for Eros South, it would not be a surprise if Eros acquires the overseas rights later.
Directed by KS Ravikumar, Lingaa has Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty in lead roles. AR Rahman composes music for the film. The audio launch is likely to be held around Diwali, says a reliable source.
