Arun Kumar reveals the premise of Sethupathi
Director Arun Kumar who shot to fame with the heartwarming Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum has revealed the basic premise of his upcoming cop thriller Sethupathi which has Vijay Sethupathi essaying the titular role. “The film is a realistic story that revolves around a police station, a cop and his family. It’s an action thriller, but will have an equal dose of emotion and sentiment without any cinematic elements,” says Arun.
“Usually, we come across stories where a cop solves issues, but what if he’s caught in a problem himself forms the rest of the story,” added Arun. Sethupathi will see Remya Nambeesam reunite with Vijay Sethupathi after their blockbuster last outing Pizza.
