Arrambam fame Mahesh Manjrekar plays the baddie in Vikram’s Garuda
Popular director-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, who was last seen in Tamil in Ajith’s Arrambam as Mahadev Rane, will play the baddie in Vikram’s Garuda with director Thiru. The movie will go on the floors from April 1st in Chennai. The team will construct grand sets in a 100-acre land near Sriperumbudur where important scenes will be shot. The makers will head to Pollachi, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Lucknow for subsequent schedules.
Kajal Aggarwal, who is paired opposite Vikram for the first time in the film, plays the role of a Coimbatore girl. Billed as an action thriller, Garuda also has Karunas and Nassar in important roles. The film is produced by Silverline Film Factory.
